Bury Corporate Parenting Week was held the week commencing 18th November 2019. This was a week of awareness raising activities for staff in Bury Council and Bury CCG. The aim was to make all staff aware that they are a corporate parent to the children and young people in care and care leavers and give them ideas on how they can get involved and be "a good corporate parent".

I dream of travelling far away
And working in the sun
I’d have a place all of my own
I’d feel like I had won
I dream of having space
Rolling hills and time to think
No one telling me what to do
What to eat and what to drink
I dream of time to just relax
To sleep per chance to dream
To have a job that I enjoy

The situation on the Corona Virus changes all the time. Care Leavers are asked to monitor NHS web sites as there is daily changing advise on self -isolating and cleansing guidance both at work, college and home. The websites to use for correct information are:
