Time4Change are Bury Drug and Alcohol Service’s customer group and act as advocates for customers with drug and alcohol related issues.

Time4Change offer a first point of contact in the Drug and Alcohol Service's building where they run a drop-in offering a confidential service for anyone wishing to discuss issues they might experience throughout their recovery.

Time4Change can assist you with:

  • Housing issues
  • Employment, including referrals to BEST
  • Locating healthcare services
  • Benefits, including assistance with forms
  • Home fire safety
  • Signposting to other recovery networks
  • Signposting to education e.g. the Adult Learning Centre

Drop-in sessions

The drop-in is based at the Time4Change office in the drug and alcohol service's reception and is open at the following times:

  • Monday 10.00am - 3.00pm
  • Tuesday 10.00am - 4.00pm
  • Wednesday 10.00am - 4.00pm
  • Thursday 10.00am - 4.00pm
  • Friday 10.00am - 12.00pm

Customers are also welcome to pop into the Time4Change office for a brew and a chat, and to find out more about what Time4Change do.

Time4Change monthly meetings

Time4Change hold monthly meetings on the last Wednesday of the month which customers are welcome to attend to raise any issues and get more involved in how services are developed locally. Details of these meetings will be advertised in reception in advance and you can help to improve services by coming along and giving your feedback.

Time4Change also feedback client’s comments, compliments and complaints to the Drug and Alcohol Team and attend monthly meetings with staff to ensure that customer's views are properly heard.
