Springs Drop-in Café (Redvales)

Offer: Free workshop sessions that we’d be happy to be listed to encourage people to come and be warm and comfortable in The Met. One is our fortnightly ‘Meet Me at The Met’ session for over 50s. There’s an art activity and teas and coffees and it’s free of charge.

One Step Vibe personal training Studio (Moorside)

Offer: We have a fire and lots of cosy, warm & thick blankets as well as cushions, all in our sensory room. We use these in our sessions and supportive group chats. Alongside this we are now offering soup, toast, brews & biscuits. We ask for a donation of £2 but this is not at all mandatory.

Offer: We offer a warm welcoming space to everyone. We offer a service to all ages with free access to books, computers, Wi-Fi and online resources such as Ancestry. We also offer a range of electronic books and audio books and digital magazines that can be accessed free of charge. All of our Libraries have regular activity sessions for adults and children. Red Door (Redvales)

The Green Cafe (Moorside)

Offer: every Sunday in January and February 2024 from 11am - 3pm. A lovely warm space with access to family games and books, along with snacks, homemade soups, hot and cold drinks and more - open to all and totally free. For further information - or pop by the Friends Hut near the bandstand on Saturday morning where we have a donations-only Tuck Shop on Saturday mornings from 8.30 - 10.30.

The Manna House

  • Tuesday and Wednesday Breakfast Club 10am to 12pm.  Egg and beans on toast, hot drinks, warm space.  Run by Time4Change.

  • Thursdays between 10.30am and 1pm – bacon butties, toast and hot drinks. Calico Floating Support are available to help with rent arrears and other tenancy-related issues at the same times.

  • Friday mornings for a drop-in from 10am to 12pm with cereal and toast breakfast.
