  • Low-cost workshop sessions fortnightly within our ‘Meet Me at The Met’ strand. This session for over 50s. We offer a different creative art activity each session with refreshments and plenty of time to chat and connect.

  • We also have our Movers and Shakers workshop for 1-5 year olds and their grown-ups which runs each Wednesday in term time from 1.30-2pm. This is a low-cost session supporting parents and carers to get active and connect with their children.

We also offer a range of electronic books and audio books and digital magazines that can be accessed free of charge. All of our Libraries have regular activity sessions for adults and children. Bury Art Museum & Sculpture Centre (Bury Town Centre)

The Green Cafe (Moorside)

Offer: Friends of Clarene Park will be hosting a free Warm Hub at The Green Cafe on Sundays between 11am and 3pm on the following dates: 29th Dec 2024, then 12th, 19th and 26th Jan, 9th, 16th and 23rd February 2025.  There is no Warm Hub on the first Sunday of each month as another group are using the space.

The Friends Warm Hub is open to everyone and all snacks and drinks are provided free of charge, thanks to a generous grant from Bury Council's Cost of Living Fund, administered by the Bury VCFA. 

Everyone is very, very welcome - our volunteers are waiting to greet you!

Bolton Road Methodist (Church)

There are free hot and cold drinks and snacks.
