African and Caribbean Women’s Centre
African and Caribbean Women’s Centre (AFRICAB) is a registered charity providing practical support to women and girls of African descent who are facing hardship, social injustice and domestic violence in the Bury Borough. We provide a range of services to support women within these communities to live a better life and overcome challenges.
Our Services
The African and Caribbean Women's Centre (AFRICAB) provides the following:
- Support with clothes and provisions to migrant families
- Advice and information
- Money management advice
- Support for those affected by loneliness and isolation
Opening times: Monday to Wednesday, 10.30 to 3.30
Attendance is by appointment.

Our services are mainly for women and girls from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds (BAME).
