Ainsworth (Presbyterian) Unitarian Chapel

Knowsley Road, Ainsworth, Bolton, BL2 5QA

Contact: Chapel Secretary, shirleyhorrocks@hotmail.com

Our beautiful chapel dates from 1715 (enlarged 1773) and is Listed Grade 2*.

Our services are normally held at 10am on the first Sunday of the month with visiting preachers. We also hold a range of special services throughout the year, including our Harvest Festival and 'Carols by Candlelight'. Please check the calendar page for details.

Unitarians share a wide variety of beliefs with questions and doubts, but it is the belief in one God and our strong community spirit which brings us together. Religion is personal to each person, and we believe everyone should have the right to seek truth and meaning for themselves based on their own life experiences. We share good relationships with members of other denominations and faiths, and all are welcome to our services and events.
