British Red Cross Wheelchair Loans

The British Red Cross lends wheelchairs and other independent living aids, for people with a disability or illness.  We help promote independence by enabling individuals to go on holiday with friends or family after an illness or spell in hospital.

We ask for a refundable deposit of £20.00 cash/cheque and a suggested weekly donation of £5.00 on return.  This is a short term service.

If you are unable to collect a piece of equipment from one of our mobility aids centre, we offer a delivery and collection service at £25.00.

The mobility aid centres are located in Bolton, Blackpool, Preston and Skelmersdale.
