The Group recognises that Diabetes is a condition that effects not only the person with the diabetes..... but the Family as a whole and can make tremendous life-style changes for all concerned.
It is a continual learning process which requires the support and assistance of all involved, and as such a self-help body like the Bury Diabetic Support Group can be a vital link between those concerned, the Primary Care Trust, the NHS and other outside bodies.

Events are held on regular basis including workshops.
Monthly meetings with Guest Speakers are held at Bury Town Hall Lancs. Fusilier's Room, at 7.30 pm on the 3rd Wednesday of Jan to June and Sept to Nov.
