The service aims to provide equipment within seven days of Assessment to all ages/client groups to enable patients to live independently without their own home/residence.
It supports early discharge in the community from hospital and admission avoidance schemes.
The Integrated Community Equipment Service allows carers to continue with their role and minimises moving and handling risks to patient, carers and staff.
