Hello my name is Sam Durham of Buttercup Childminding. We are a mother/daughter partnership. Between us we have over 20 years experience of working with children in a variety of settings, including childminding, private nursery and schools. We also hold several relevant qualifications including Safeguarding, first aid, food hygiene, SENCO and BA Honours Degrees in Early Years and Childhood studies.
We feel these qualifications and experience enable us to bring the best of nursery practice and combine it with the best of childminding practice to offer high quality, home based childcare and education.
We support each child to learn and develop through a wide range of resources, activities and experiences in a warm, caring and friendly family environment, which includes our own furry friend (a very small family pet dog who loves the children as much as we do!). Our provision includes a purpose built playroom, large outdoor gardens and regular visits into the community to support children's learning and development.
We work with a range of children from 0-11 years and offer funding for 2, 3 & 4 year olds. Hours, days and times can be arranged to suit the individual requirements of each family including full/part time; term time/ school holidays only.
