Bury Children's Learning Disability Team
The team is provided by Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.
We support children with a Learning Disability, their families and carers and who are registered with a GP in the Bury area.
Our team consists of three Learning Disability nurses.
All interventions are based upon the following assessments: Comprehensive behaviour assessments, health assessments and risk assessments.
We offer support to other services around individual children, including: advice on health, behavioural and care issues, individual behaviour support and training, parenting advice and family work and training for staff and carers.
