About us

We are an ambitious and innovative housing association, providing affordable homes and services across Greater Manchester to over 16,000 people in over 7500 homes.

We are a charitable, registered provider of social housing. We also have a wholly own company, that provides property services and employs people. Between us we employ 280 colleagues and have a combined turnover of £36m.

We provide high quality homes to a wide variety of people, with a broad range of needs and incomes. We rent to customers on low incomes and also provide market rent accommodation.

We believe that our customers should take responsibility for their actions and the actions of their families. At the heart of our vision is Diamond Service, which promises that our best customers get the best homes and services. It rewards positive, loyal behaviour with exceptional rewards and benefits and actively discourages negative practices such as intentional non-payment of rent and anti-social behaviour.

Our mission

Is to create the conditions in which customers and colleagues can enjoy life and realise their potential.

Our values are to:

  • Take responsibility for our actions
  • Treat others as they would like to be treated - with honesty, dignity, respect and trust
  • Learn from mistakes
  • Work with passion and fun
  • Believe in tough rights and tough responsibilities
  • Be pioneering and free thinking

Our vision for 2017/20

Is to build new homes and grow, while enabling customers and colleagues to realise their potential.

Our plan

As well as providing great homes in good neighbourhoods, we want to create the conditions in which our customers and colleagues can enjoy life and realise their potential.

We want to build more affordable homes for people who need them, new homes to rent, and to buy - providing places for people to call home and making our contribution to the housing shortage.

And we want to work with those who share our values and ambitions, being an influential and valued partner in shaping the growth and success of our region.

We aim to maximise resident satisfaction, while at the same time growing our business responsibly. We actively encourage customers to be involved in the running of the organisation and to provide us with feedback on our services and polices.

We are also involved in long term, sustainable neighbourhood regeneration and focus on projects that increase employability and well-being, provide positive futures for all our residents, promote financial inclusion and strengthen communities.

We aim to be the best organisation to work for, which is recognised by our many awards. We currently employ over 170 colleagues who are committed to creating fantastic places to live. In return for that commitment, we offer a range of excellent work related benefits.

In short, our mission is 'to create the conditions in which customers and colleagues can enjoy living and working and realise their full potential.'
