The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) was founded in 2001 and is the only UK charity specifically devoted to supporting adults and their families living with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and children, young people and their families affected by juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and the health professionals treating RA and JIA.

How can JIA-at-NRAS help? If you are a parent/Carer of a child or young person (under16) who has recently been diagnosed and you have more questions than answers, then please get in touch by emailing us at jia@nras.org.uk or call our confidential Helpline on 0800 298 7650.

If you would like to learn more about JIA, the medications used in treating the condition and how to manage JIA in schools, you can download our free information booklets from our website or order hard-copies to be sent in the post.
