We are a co-educational 11-16 comprehensive school of over 860 pupils. The school is designated as seven-form entry. The admission limit for new pupils to join the school in September 2013 is 176.
Our philosophy is founded on a belief in respect, traditional values, courtesy, self-discipline, hard work and the rewarding of excellence. Expectations are high; pupils and teachers’ work together in a secure atmosphere, which is caring, stimulating, demanding and enjoyable.
Contact with parents is valued, we are the only Secondary School in the Bury area to have the LPPA (Leading Parents Partnership Award).
