Raynauds and Scleroderma Association
Raynauds and Scleroderma Association
0 Reviews
A national charity supporting patients, family members and carers as well as providing up to date information, advice, reassurance and signposting about Raynaud's, Scleroderma and other related rheumatic conditions.
Raynaud's affects an estimated 10 million people in the UK. Exposure to cold or changes in temperature causes a reduction in blood flow to hands, feet or other extremities, making them white and numb and is often extremely painful.
A small number of Raynaud's sufferers develop the rare autoimmune connective tissue disease, scleroderma. This can be confirmed or eliminated by a specific blood test.
Our online shop www.raynauds.org.uk/shop has useful items to help combat the effects of cold. We welcome new members and those willing to raise money for the research we fund across the UK.
