Do you have a criminal conviction and want to make a change in your life?
Step Together Volunteering supports young people and adults with criminal convictions to change their lives through community volunteering, and 1-2-1 support. The right volunteering opportunity can help you to;
- Develop new skills, gain references and valuable work experience.
- Increase self-confidence, self-belief and motivation.
- Develop new social networks and friendships.
- Find a meaningful role in the community.
- Identify new possibilities and build a more positive future.
We pride ourselves on being able to find volunteer placements that meet your interests, and helping you along the way.
Criminal Justice Programmes: In addition to our 1-2-1 support, we also offer our 'For My Future' course, which aims to help overcome the barriers that people with criminal convictions face in finding work. We are also running our Women's Peer Mentoring Programme, which aims to connect women and girls whose lives are affected by the criminal justice system, with peer mentors - women with lived experiences, who have achieved positive changes.
