The Derby High School

We are proud to be a high achieving school and to be the only school in Bury to offer so many exciting opportunities.  Our pastoral care is first rate and students are looked after extremely well whilst also being challenged to do their very best.  

In 2013 The Derby High School became the only school in the UK to win two national awards for educational excellence at the TES School Awards in London.  In June 2015 we received an Educational Outcomes Award from the SSAT for being in the top 20% of schools nationally for student progress at GCSE.   

To be compared with the highest performing schools in the country and be declared as the very best is a wonderful testament to the talent and hard work of all of our staff.
