About this service
Our Mental Wellbeing Group is a closed group and members must have a formal mental health diagnosis or a mental health need. It meets on Thursdays from 3.30pm – 6.30pm.
Before you first come along, you will need to be assessed by someone from CAST (our Community Advice and Support Team). This gives us an understanding of your specific mental health support needs, networks, triggers and warnings signs.
Members enjoy a hot meal together in our Purple Room Community Centre at Heathlands Village. Activities are offered throughout the year such as karaoke, bingo, film evenings, quizzes, art, themed events, exercise and mindfulness, sports nights, parties and guest speakers. However if you prefer, you can just sit and have a quiet chat or play games with other members.
Staff are on hand to provide a confidential, listening ear.
£5 per session
Please book in advance by leaving a message with Customer Services on 0161 772 4800 or email advice@thefed.org.uk
