Local allotment group providing allotments for people living in the Bury area. Encouraging healthy eating by growing your own vegetables.
We are happy to encourage groups/organisations to come and see us and learn about the different types of fruit and veg, that we grow and to learn about looking after and caring for hens.
In 2021 we opened a community allotment and hub called East Ward Growing Together. This is open to all ages and all abilities to come and take part in planting and growing or just to sit and enjoy the peace.
Events:
- On the 3rd Tuesday each month we offer free coffee and cake from 2pm 'til 3pm
- Every Friday at 11am- 2pm we offer a 'Winter Warmer' for just £1.00 and you can eat in or takeaway
We are happy to CHAT and we love having fun.
