About this service
Local allotment group providing allotments for people living in the Bury area. Encouraging healthy eating by growing your own vegetables.
We are happy to encourage groups/organisations to come and see us and learn about the different types of fruit and veg, that we grow and to learn about looking after and caring for hens.
In 2021 we opened a community allotment and hub called East Ward Growing Together. This is open to all ages and all abilities to come and take part in planting and growing or just to sit and enjoy the peace.
Events:
We have a Community Allotment called East Ward Growing Together which is open all ages and abilities.
The Community Allotment is open on Monday's 10 until12
We also have a craft club on Monday afternoons from 1 until 3pm.
There are no charges for these activities although we never say no to donations
We are happy to CHAT and we love having fun.
