Below you fill find details of various business and establishments who have registered to participate in Bury's 'Take a Seat' initiative.
Each participating establishment has made a commitment to becoming more age friendly, by welcoming people into store, providing them with a seat in a welcoming environment, where they can sit and rest, and may be offered a glass of water and, if accessible, be allowed to use the toilet facilities.
There have been a number of benches installed as part of the initiative, providing additional seating in the community for people to sit and take a rest. Details of these benches, including their location can be found below.
