A new set of wheelchair weigh scales have been installed at Bury Library that are free to use for anyone in Bury, without the need for an appointment.
They feature a digital display screen that users can take a picture of to record their weight, and a folding seat for those with some mobility to manoeuvre themselves onto.
The library itself is open Tuesday-Saturday and is wheelchair accessible, with local transport links nearby and parking for blue badge holders outside. User instructions have been placed adject to the scales.
