Day nurseries are registered and inspected by OFSTED and look after and educate children aged 0-5. They are usually open all day, typically from around 7am to 6pm although times vary from one nursery to another. Full & Part time places should usually be available

As these are private businesses costs will vary but you can check if you qualify for the Childcare Element of the Working Tax Credit or make a claim by calling the tax credit helpline on 0345 300 3900.
