Abbeyfield House - Sheltered Housing

Abbeyfield House Abbeyfield House, Turks Road, Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, Lancs, M26 4WN

About this service

Abbeyfield House on Turks Road was originally owned by Radcliffe Abbeyfield Society, which merged with Abbeyfield Bury Society in 2002.

The supported accommodation has seven private personalised bedsits, each of which has a lovely area where you can put your own personal furniture, making your room into a real home.

They also have a small kitchen area and an ensuite bathroom. Two meals are home-cooked every day, and facilities for making refreshments and breakfast are provided.

The house has a beautiful garden which is maintained by professional gardeners. It is on a main road within a mile of the town centre, and bus stops are 50 yards away.

The home is well maintained and has a cosy and happy atmosphere. As it has only seven residents we can easily accommodate their personnel needs and requirements, so it's a real home from home. Our residents all have a very friendly and caring relationship with our staff and committee members.

A hairdresser comes weekly and an optician visits when required. And Turks Road has its very own knitting circle!
