About this service

We are a privately owned, family-run business. Established in 1994, we pride ourselves on our caring and common-sense approach to finding you the perfect care solution. Our goal is to make the process of arranging live-in care quick, easy, and cost effective, affording families across the UK peace of mind.

For over 30 years we have been introducing highly trained and rigorously vetted carers to people across the UK. Our clients benefit from full-time care and support and wish to remain living in their own home.

Our Story

Established in 1994 when founder Judie Tighe realised that there was a gap in the homecare market, having witnessed the difficulties her mother had arranging care for her father. As a result, she made it her mission to transform the process of organising live-in care, so both those who need it, and those family members arranging it, have quick and easy access to a solution that suits their individual circumstance.

Over thirty years on, her original vision continues to drive the company forward. Passed from mother to daughter, Access Care is now run by Tiggy Bradshaw and a handpicked team of dedicated and honest professionals. Our team take a personal interest in every client and Carer registered with the agency.

“Over thirty years on, her original vision continues to drive the company forward. Passed from mother to daughter, Access Care is now run by Tiggy Bradshaw and a handpicked team of care and recruitment professionals. The team take a personal interest in each, and every client and care worker that is registered with the agency.”

Our large pool of professional carers ensures we are able to match experience and qualifications to those requiring live-in care for numerous varied reasons. Our private Carers are highly trained experts, and many have years of experience meaning we are able to find a perfect match.

Our caring office team listen to those that contact us and understand that you need a solution that works for your family and not a company that you need to ‘fit into.’ We are here to make the process of arranging care easy for you, and do so using our heads and hearts, and good old-fashioned common sense.
