Auntie Diane's Childcare

HI, my name is Diane Robinson. I am an OFSTED registered childminder living in Prestwich. I enjoy my role as a childminder and love working with children of all ages. I have now been working with children from birth upwards for the last 25 years.  I have 2 grown up children and 4 granddaughters.

My setting is a home from home setting, I am a flexible home from home childminder.  I can work along side of you if you have a shift pattern/rota which are different days and times each week.  I can cover weekend shifts.  I can also cover emergency childcare for any unexpected events.  Your child/children are treated as part of the family.

Children are welcomed into a warm, clean, friendly, fun and family environment. They are given all opportunities to learn, develop and grow.

A daily journal is sent home at the end of each day letting parents know about their child's day.

I have excellent working relationships with all parents. 

I provide homemade nutritious meals as well as healthy snacks throughout the day.

We attend many different playgroups, parks and libraries. We enjoy outings to museums etc. 

The facilities I provide are a wide range of educational & fun toys to suit all ages, plenty of Arts and crafts materials for children to explore with and a garden that has outdoor toys, a sand and water table for children to play in a safe and secure environment. 

The children and I go out most mornings doing a variety of activities and then spend the afternoons napping with age appropriate planned and free play till home time.

I have all relevant paperwork and training in place and continue to do training that will benefit the children in my care.

Each child is given an individual portfolio filed with photographic evidence of their activities and the various stages of learning as they progress. This portfolio will then be handed to the child s parents/guardians as a keepsake when they leave my care.

Snacks and refreshments are provided and meals depending on hours of childcare. I use all fresh ingredients and do vegetarian and other dietary requirements. I do not give sweets and juice with artificial colouring's and additives.
