Bury People First

For adults aged 18 or over who are learning disabled and live within Bury Local Authority. Bury People First is a self-advocacy organisation run by the members.

We plan and run workshops and training around issues that affect us, such as Housing, Employment, Transport and Hate Crime. We also work alongside local Services to ensure they are appropriate for the people who use them.

Generally the service runs Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4pm. However, work outside of these times is carried out when necessary.
