About this service
Bury based volunteer Litter Picking group covering areas of the borough that are not covered by other litter picking groups, mainly Bury East, West and Whitefield.
- We arrange group litter picks to tidy up a specific area and then encourage local residents to “adopt an area” and keep it clean and tidy.
- We can supply council approved bags and loan litter picking equipment to residents who want to help in their area.
- We work alongside other litter picking groups around town including Tottington Litter Pickers, Litter Picking Ramsbottom, Radcliffe Litter Pickers and Clean Team Prestwich.
- We work with schools, where we raise awareness of being kind to our environment, and support with the loan of equipment.
- We also work with businesses to support their staff to get out litter picking as part of their social responsiblity.
Litter Picking is good for the environment, wildlife, mind, body, and soul!
