Supporting Mental and Emotional Health - Wellness 4 Women (W4W)
ADAB provides a dedicated and specialist Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing for
- young BAME women from minority communities
- aged 16 years to 25 years
- women with little or no English
A emotional wellbeing service is high quality, cultural and gender specific support. W4W is specifically designed for
- Cultural issues
- culturally sensitiveness
- limitations due to family issues
- Understand religious limitations
- Cultural stigma
Our therapist will provide support that will help support and provide therapies for common issues, such , and This includes psychological support 1-2-1 therapy, and one-off drop in support sessions. W4W can help with emotional health
- Low self esteem
- Feeling down
- anxiety,
- stress
- Depression.
- loneliness
- isolation
ADAB has both male and female fully qualified counsellors and therapists, including CBT, and reiki, who can help you work through problems or ease aches and pains.
We can also help with Social issues that help improve your emotional wellbeing
- Domestic Violence,
- poverty,
- emotional abuse,
- family issues
- difficult caring responsibilities.
- racism,
- sexual bias,
- immigration status
- disability
- any other issues which may prevent women from accessing mainstream services.
We specifically provides
- confidential impartial advice.
- Bespoke therapy and support
- Social support e.g. domestic violence, abuse, benefits, housing, poverty debt etc.
- Peer to Peer support for social issues, domestic family issues
