You can experience the sights and sounds of working in the cotton mills during one of the demonstrations in the Textiles Gallery as thunderous machinery spins and weaves raw cotton in to thread.
Marvel at the mighty moving wheels of industry as they power-up the largest collection of working steam engines in the Power Hall.
Carry out your own experiments in 'Xperiment', or even venture into a Victorian sewer. Alternatively, simply relax at the café to 'Recharge' or visit the restaurant to meet with friends for lunch, not forgetting to visit the gift shop as you leave.
