About this service
Persona Care and Support are adult Social Care providers with services across Bury.
We believe that people deserve Social Care that improves their quality of life. We know that that's unique to every person, so we tailor our support to what matters to you.
Persona was created in October 2015. The services which make up Persona were previously delivered in-house at Bury Council. We are proud to have a long track record as quality in-house services but welcome the opportunity to take forward a new organisation with the ability to do things differently.
Our services
We have a range of different support options for adults aged 18 and over, which we've designed to be flexible. We categorise our support areas as Days, Stays and Lives.
There are a range of options in each of these areas, including Grundy Hub Get Social and Elmhurst Short Stay for older people, Learning Disability Day Services, Supported Living, Woodbury Short Stay and Bury Shared Lives, which we manage.
From advice, guidance and signposting, through to light touch support or even 24/7 services supporting complex needs, this flexibility means you can pick and choose, building your own support plan from any or all of the Days, Stays and Lives areas. Persona can provide you with a 'one stop shop', getting continuity and consistency of care from just one place.
For example, you could opt for regular day support on one day or several days a week, with the option to include short residential breaks for holidays, as well as flexible support in your own home.
We provide specialist opportunities for:
- young people with additional needs
- people with learning disabilities
- people with physical disabilities
- older people
- people living with dementia
- people with autism
We also have the specific skills and knowledge needed to support long term conditions and when required, to be there for you at end of life.
You can find out more about our individual services on our Our Services page.
We regularly run events which everyone is welcome to come to. To find out what's on, click here.
What else?
We take a ‘Whole Family’ approach to our business and make it our priority to support the loved ones or carers of people we support too.
