About this service
Pride in Practice is a quality assurance support service that strengthens and develops Primary Care Services relationship with their lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) patients within the local community in Bury.
Pride in Practice is suitable for all Primary Care Services, including GP Practices, Dentists, Pharmacies and Optometrists.
Pride in Practice is LGBT Foundation's programme to ensure that all lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people have access to primary care services that are LGBT inclusive and understand the needs of our communities.
LGBT Foundation have been funded by NHS England and Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership to support GP Practices, Community Pharmacies, Dental Practices and Optometry outlets through Pride in Practice, a quality assurance service that strengthens and develops primary care services’ relationships with their lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans patients.
