About this service
REACH Retreat is a wheelchair accessible, affordable, family and dog friendly holiday home with access to all the facilities in the South Lakes Leisure Village in Carnforth, Lancashire (a one hour drive from Bury) and everyone is welcome to stay.
REACH Retreat was built following feedback from people supported by Persona Care and Support via the Persona Your Voice Committee who said they found it difficult to find affordable, accessible holiday accommodation.

Anyone can stay at the lodge, which has these facilities:
- sleeps 7 people in 3 bedrooms & sofa bed
- dog friendly (no extra charge) with enclosed decking area
- smart TV in each bedroom & lounge
- ramp to front door
- mobile hoist
- profiling bed
- electric vehicle charging area
- wet room with folding, waterproof wheelchair
- enclosed outdoor decking area with patio furniture
Our guests will also enjoy a complimentary leisure pass with access to the onsite pool (accessible changing area and hoist) and gym. There is also a restaurant and bar in the leisure village.
