About this service

Role of the team

Our team comprises of Joanne Ash; SEN Lead Early Years and Marina Howarth - EY SEN Training & Development Officer and we are part of the wider Early Years Team

We work in partnership across multi-agency teams within Education, Health, Care and external partners.

We offer support, advice and guidance in the delivery of the Graduated Approach of Assess, Plan, Do, Review, including robust transitions for children with SEND. This ensures settings are providing appropriate early intervention to meet the child’s needs and to support progress.

Our priority is to ensure the child and family remain at the heart of SEND processes via person centred approaches and interventions.  Thus enabling  Early Year’s settings to meet SEND legal requirements which inform their practice.
