Sunny Bank PRS Residential Care Home

Sunny Bank Residential care home is a large house surrounded by fields and trees on a half acre site close to the centre of Tottington village.

At all times we aim to provide a high standard of professional support/care and expertise, which has been recognised by fellow health care professionals.

The aim of Sunny Bank is to provide client-centred, rehabilitative, residential provision, for residents who have mental health needs who require medium to long term care, some of whom progress on to (semi) independent living within the community.

Rehabilitative day care has also been provided at Sunny Bank and we have also provided limited residential respite care for some of our day care clients

The home is registered to care for up to 21 residents. The home is divided into 3 floors. The ground floor is the main focus for activities and leisure time. This consists of various areas; two lounges for residents to watch TV, a conservatory, a quieter lounge, a lounge for visitors to come and visit residents and one which allows residents to use computer facilities and to choose from a variety of activities. The ground floor also has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one of which is for visitors to use. The first floor is where the majority of the bedrooms are based.

There are 13 single bedrooms with 5 bathrooms. The second floor has 5 bedrooms that include one room with en-suite facilities and 2 bathrooms. At Sunny Bank, we aim to provide a wide variety of meals for residents all of which are nutritionally balanced. There are also chances for residents to be taught recipes with assistance from staff.
