Tottington Library Market Street, Tottington, Lancashire, BL8 3LL

About this service

The Tottington Centre and Community Library is run entirely by volunteers and is funded by the local community through fundraising.

It is a vital community hub for all sorts of groups, events and activities. The Centre has a well used library stocked with almost 9000 good quality books; over 20,000 people used the Centre in it's first year; it has more than 30 different groups which run in the centre each week for adults; and each day there are also activities for children and young people in the centre such as the 4 O' Clock club, Lego club, Pre-school stories and crafts, Saturday Morning club etc. Plus there are holiday activities each day of the school holidays.

Through Community Funding the Centre has been able to open a lovely vintage Tea Room (Tottington Tea Room) which is very popular. It offers tasty breakfasts, delicious lunches, coffee and cake and Afternoon Teas and has a 5* Food Hygiene rating. It is Family Friendly, Dog Friendly and welcoming to all. Through Community Fundraising we have also been able to ADD additional and accessible toilet facilities.

Pick up a leaflet with details of all groups, activities and events. The Centre is totally reliant upon donations so please continue to support us. Book donations always welcome. The Tottington Centre is a great environment for all.

We also have rooms for hire and conference and training facilities.
