Tottington St Annes CofE Church

St Annes Church Chapel Street, Tottington, BL8 4AP

About this service

St Anne's has stood at the heart of the village of Tottington since 1799. It is a traditional Church of England community that is open, inclusive and family friendly.

We are not stuffy! The services mostly follow the pattern for Holy Communion and we are supported by an able and highly motivated laity. We have an excellent organist and a well-established choral tradition, Mothers Union and Scouts and Girl Guides meet in the parish hall on Thursdays and Fridays.

The young people of the Church involve themselves as altar servers or collectors and are an important element in the life of the Church. We also have a “God Squad” of late teen early twenty year olds that meet locally.

The people at St Anne ‘s come from very different Church backgrounds but have made St Anne ‘s their spiritual home. During the year a wide number of social events take place that give newcomers the opportunity to see what we are like outside of Sunday worship. The Vicar is always happy to visit.

We hope that when you visit St Anne‘s you will receive a warm welcome and have time for a CHAT after Church at coffee in the parish hall.
