Number of households

There were 24,783,199 households in England and Wales on Census Day; the number of households increased by more than 1.4 million since 2011 (6.1%), when there were 23,366,044 households.  Bury had 80,693 households on Census Day 2021 which was 2580 more than in 2011, an increase of 3.2%.

 

The table below shows the number of households by MSOA in Bury.

Fernhill & Pimhole had the largest number of households at 4,380 (5.4%).  Higher Woodhill had the smallest with 2,321 (2.9%).

The table below shows the number of households by ward.

Radcliffe North & Ainsworth had the largest number of households at 5,344 (6.6%).  North Manor had the smallest with 4,214 (5.2%).
