Peer Network and Review Systems

Peer networks support schools to support each other and together develop practices and improve outcomes for children and young people. Bury local authority currently provides funded peer networking and review processes through Whole Education. This is a year long project, during which schools use The Evaluate My School platform to support school leaders and SENCo’s in effective self-evaluation across 7 key strands: Intent, Identification, Implementation, Impact, Provision mapping, working with children and families and Effective use of Teaching assistants.

High quality CPD webinars (found here Watch SEND CPD Webinars — Whole Education), hosted by leading SEND experts, further support SEND leaders in embedding sustainable, self-improving systems into schools in a way that is manageable and supportive with the ultimate aim of improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

More information can be found on the Whole Education website and the Inclusion Service can provide more information about how to become part of the project. Whole setting approaches

Thriving school and college communities embed SEND support within a whole setting approach and ethos that celebrates difference and diversity and champions inclusion.
