Action for Prisoners' Families (APF) is the national membership organisation for those interested in the well being of the prisoners' families. APF wants every prisoners' family to get the support they would like and need.

APF works to reduce the negative impact of imprisonment on prisoners' families by:- Producing publications and resources for prisoners' families, children and for practitioners.

Providing advice , information and training to our members. Providing our members with opportunities to network to share experiences, concerns and successes. Listening to prisoners' families and working with them to improve services provided.

Lobbying for improved structures, procedures, conditions and services that affect the well being of prisoners' families. Promoting best practice.

Essentially APF is campaigning to raise awareness, improve conditions and reduce stigma.
