Breastfeeding Network (BfN) is a UK wide Registered Charity, which aims to be an independent source of support and information for breastfeeding women and those involved in their care.

Our volunteers are working with breastfeeding women, in a variety of settings such as helping over the telephone, in breastfeeding drop-in centres and/or visiting hospital post-natal wards as well as doing some home-visiting. Lines are open 9.30am until 9.30pm every day of the year.

The Drugs in Breastmilk helpline is 0844 412 4665 - providing information and support via a helpline and by email, on medications in mother's milk. This service is used widely by BfN volunteers, volunteers from the other breastfeeding organisations, health professionals and breastfeeding mothers.

A telephone helpline in Bengali / Sylheti is available on 0300 456 2421.

Supporterline in Tamil/Telugu/Hindi 0300 330 5469.

See website for Support Centres. We offer Open College Network accredited training courses for mothers.

We have information materials aimed at breastfeeding mothers and health professionals. See our website
