We are a residential care home in the Moorside area of Bury.
Burrswood is made up of four separate houses, with each one offering a different level of care – Key House offers residential dementia care, Peel House is for nursing dementia care, Dunster House provides general nursing and Crompton House offers residential care.
We pride ourselves on the warm, friendly atmosphere you'll find when you come to Burrswood and we believe it's the perfect place to stay for either long or short-term care.
All food is freshly prepared and home cooked at Burrswood and we offer first class IDDSI textured modified diets to any resident with dysphasia allowing them to enjoy the same foods as our other residents. Our in-house activities team provide a varied mix of activities such as bingo, musical entertainment, board games, exercises, arts and crafts and we enjoy the company of children from the local nurseries, schools and churches in the area as part of our enrichment programme. We are an animal friendly home and you are welcome to bring in any well behaved pets to visit.
