Occupational Therapy provides a range of specialist Assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services for the population of Bury.

Physical Disability can be the result from a variety of illnesses or conditions, and may vary in severity and prognosis.

Clients that are referred to Occupational Therapy have complex needs and may present with one or more of the following conditions:

  • Orthopaedic conditions,
  • Rheumatology,
  • Neurological conditions such as stroke or brain injury,
  • Palliative care,
  • General Medical conditions
  • Long term conditions such as Cardiovascular disorder, hypertension, diabetes, cancer, COPD, asthma, epilepsy.
