Aims of the Forum

"To provide a platform as a collective group of Third Sector organisations who deliver work in Bury that impacts on children, young people and their families. This platform will be means to network, influence strategy, develop services, offer organisational peer support as well as supporting our statutory partners in achieving the best outcomes for Bury families."

Objectives of the Forum

  • Identify and coordinate meaningful representation of Third Sector experience and appropriate contributions to relevant strategic groups and partnership
  • Promote collaboration in the delivery and development of the Children, Young People and Families agenda and offer within Bury
  • Ensure that Third Sector partners can network in a face to face setting alongside other existing and emerging means of communication
  • Provide peer support where opportunities are available to strengthen the Third Sector offer across the borough
  • Ensure the voice of our service users is a driving force for the work in the Borough
