Early Help Locality Areas – Primary Schools

The Early Help delivery model seeks to identify family needs early and provide preventative support and intervention. The Early Help Locality teams provide support across the borough and are based in Children Centres in Bury, Radcliffe and Whitefield.

Early Help is delivered by a wide range of services, including Bury’s primary schools. As part of this, Bury’s primary schools work together in a partnership approach to refine early identification and early intervention practices to ensure that no child is left behind. This partnership approach facilitates interagency working between education, health, Social Care and the third sector in order to achieve holistic outcomes for the borough’s children.

Bury’s primary schools have geographically aligned their inclusion partnership approach with Bury’s established Early Help Locality delivery model and consist of:

  • Bury North – made up of a Bury East and Ramsbottom subgroups
  • Radcliffe
  • Whitefield
