Early Years Practitioner SEND Consultation Sessions

0 Reviews

We are introducing virtual consultation sessions that will be available twice a month for SENCOs to attend if they would like:

  • General early years SEND advice
  • The opportunity to discuss a named child. When discussing a named child signed permission is required prior to the consultation. You need to clarify the identified areas of concern and what is currently in place to support the child. This should reflect how practice, provision and resources have been adapted for individual children.
  • To inform of any SEND related workshops or training sessions you would like us to provide in order to support you to meet the individual needs of the children in your setting
  • Advice with regard to the Early Years Inclusion support funding process.
  • Advice regarding the Graduated Approach

The Consultation sessions will be facilitated by

Joanne Ash SEN Lead Early Years &

Marina Howarth SEN Training and Development Advisor Early Years

You will be allocated a 20-minute session and confirmed bookings will be taken on a “First come, first served,” basis
