Icebreakers is a self-help, mutual support group in Manchester that helps gay and bisexual men aged 18 to 80 plus.

We’ve been here since 1986 and thousands of men have used the group.

You can e-mail the group at info@icebreakersmanchester.org.uk  – this is checked regularly (we aim to reply within 48 hours).

Icebreakers holds meetings every Wednesday at 8pm (on your first night please try and get there 10 minutes early) at the LGBT Foundation’s 3rd floor meeting rooms at Number 5 Richmond Streetwhich is at the Minshull St end of Richmond Street, Manchester M1 3HF.

Members drink tea and coffee and CHAT in an informal and safe setting that is facilitated by a team of volunteers. There are usually four to six trained volunteers on duty per session. Many of them came out through Icebreakers themselves so can help you settle in to the group.

On your first visit a volunteer will have a one-to-one CHAT with you and tell you all about the group and what we can do to help you.
