Situated next to Square Lodge in the Kirklees valley nature reserve our cosy country café is open:
- Saturday 9.45-12.30 as an honest café, help yourself to cakes, hot and cold drinks for a donation.
- Sunday 10-2 as a full service café, hot and cold food and drinks available.
We serve hot and cold drinks, home baked treats, hot sandwiches. The café is staffed by Mia and Dylan.
On a Sunday the café we offer:
- Breakfast muffins: Sausage, bacon for £3 with a drink and cake.
- Cheese and onion rolls with healings herbs / Sausage rolls with healing herbs for £2.50 with a drink and cake.
- Homemade cheesy bakes with wild garlic for £2.50 with a drink and cake.
- Waffles with honey or butter for £2.50 with a drink and cake.
- Salad, cheese, chicken or ham sandwich for £3 with a drink and a cake.
- Pain au chocolat or brioche.
- Hot and cold drinks always available, as well as a selection of cakes and crisps.
Our café is the perfect stop on a hack or country stroll.
All funds raised go to support our charity which works to promote the conservation of our countryside, community and support disadvantaged young people.
Kirklees Community Café
Join us for breakfast for a family of four from £10.00, walk round and play in our Secret Garden. Hot, cold drinks and snacks are always available.
