Dentistry is one of the few NHS services where you have to pay a contribution towards the cost of your care. There are three standard charges for NHS dental treatment. These charges will take effect from 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020. Usually NHS charges are increased every April, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic this increase has been postponed and the 20/2021 price adjustment is now due to happen on 1st October 2020.
