Explorer Scouts are open to Girls and Boys along with Adult Volunteers from all backgrounds, races and religions.
Explorers are encouraged to lead themselves in deciding the programme and direction of the Unit, with support and guidance from leaders.
The Young Leaders’ Scheme is completed, where young people are able to take on a leadership role in one of the younger sections. We also complete the Duke of Edinburgh Awards along with Chief Scouts and Queens Scout Awards.
There is wider scope for activities like offshore sailing, campaigning, performing, parascending, mountaineering and expeditions.
