Welcome to a church where you will find worship that is uplifting; inspiration for daily living; support at all times; friendship between all ages; a growing faith for today's world.
OPENNESS is a key feature of our life at St Margaret's.
Openness to God - reflected in a light and airy church, where the altar has been brought forward from the rear of the chancel to be more accessible to all parts of the church.
Openness to each other - it is our aim to welcome all into the life of the Church and to encourage their participation. We do our best to provide opportunities for involvement. The Churchwardens and members of the Church Council may only be elected for three consecutive years in order to make ourselves open to new faces and fresh ideas.
There is an openness to all age groups; there isn't much ageism, or sexism for that matter, in the life of our community. It gives so much pleasure to see the friendships across the generations.
There is also an openness to our neighbours in the surrounding community. We are not a church that excludes or erects obstacles to those who wish to come along. In all our organisations there are members from other churches, other faiths or no faith at all.
In all this we strive to reflect in our life and witness the openness of our Saviour, and the gracious nature of our God.
We are committed to offering a warm welcome to all and very much hope to see you soon. Please join us. Do feel free contact us if you have any questions or if we can help you.
