What we do

  • Prevent isolation by providing opportunities for young adults to meet others, share experiences and gain mutual support with like minded people
  • Promote well being and a healthier and happier life
  • Social, fun activities and learning new skills and confidence building
  • We hold regular weekly fun relaxed sessions: Thursday evenings at Brandlesholme Community Centre
  • Offer walking and talking sessions (weather permitting)

The S.E.T.T Group stands for the following:

  • Supportive- by providing opportunities for young adults who struggle with anxiety, mild depression and isolation. To meet with others who have shared experiences and to support each other
  • Encouraging- friendship, confidence building, good mental health and a happier, healthier life
  • Togetherness- The S.E.T.T is a small community friendship group run by volunteers working together with their members. We work to bring together young adults who struggle to feel they belong and to enable them to re engage with their community
  • Team- by working as a team helps understanding, stops isolation and feelings of low self esteem
